Blogging Zoom - Hit or Miss?

by admin

Blogging Zoom has been running for almost three weeks now, just after I started this blog. If you don’t know what BZ is, have a look at my initial review. I have, since joining, incorporated it into my daily workflow, spending a half hour in the morning and another in the evening. My stats so far:

Total submissions: 8
Posts gone hot: 7
Zooms: 253

From this I have had a regular stream of traffic ranging from five to twenty five visitors a day. Plus I have seen sites and met people that I probably might not have. True it’s not a massive amount of traffic yet but it is on the increase. So as far as I’m concerned BZ is a worthwhile site. If you haven’t already, get along to Blogging Zoom and sign up for free.

  1. Blogging zoom has been great getting traffic to my site. I also really enjoy taking time to go through the other posts. I have discovered some really great blogs by doing so… it’s about networking and building community.

    Cheers,
    Heather

  4. Hi Colin,

It is not all about daily traffic what Blogging Zoom promises. The logic behind it is better indexing of your posts in Google and other search engines. If this is true, submitting your posts to Blogging Zoom is very valuable for targetted traffic to your blog.

Anyway, we will see whether it works or not. This is my first visit to your blog, and i am quite impressed. Wish you all the best!

    Cheers,
    Mert Erkal

  5. @ Simon: I will have a look at swypefile this week-end, thanks.

@Mert Erkal: Did I come across that way? My greatest benefit has been the exposure to blogs I may never have seen otherwise. The extra traffic is just the gravy, traffic wise I’ve had a far better results from the Ecard in four days than with BZ in four weeks.

  6. Wow another site to drive traffic to my blog? There are so many now between EntreCard, rssHugger, BlogCatalog, and now Blogging Zoom. I really enjoy networking with other bloggers and it has really paid off.

I had 170 unique visits 2nd day my blog was up, and today (3rd day in operation)–looking at my stats as of now I have 688 unique visitors with 1,061 page loads; all achieved through networking with other bloggers!

I haven’t added Blogging Zoom to my list of sites to network with other bloggers because frankly I’m having trouble keeping up with the communities I’m involved with now, but I will definitely join it soon as soon as I get a little more organized–I’m still fairly new to blogging.

  8. @xicom: Networking is the key to success ;)

@Mr.Pinoy: No problem :) Don’t try to do them all at once, pick 2 or 3 and get good in them, then add more.
